But that was not the end of her battle with cancer. Qing Feng's mum said she had over 20 sessions of chemotherapy, which caused her to suffer from severe hair loss, nausea. She also developed difficulties in walking.

After her recovery, Mama Wu was hit with another piece of bad news.

She was diagnosed with a cerebral hemangioma, which are vascular malformations of the central nervous system and are visible as lesions in the brain.

Qing Feng and his mum did not mention how the hemangioma was treated.

Qing Feng also blamed himself for bringing his parents “bad luck” as he was with his mum when she was diagnosed with cerebral hemangioma. He was also there with his father when the latter was told that he was terminally ill with cancer.

Mama Wu then chided Qing Feng for having such thoughts.

“I wouldn’t have known that there was something wrong with my brain if you didn't ask me to go for a checkup. You’re my saviour and lucky star," she said.
