Hong Kong actor Wong Hei may have been largely out of the limelight in recent years, but the 57-year-old dropped a shocking bombshell via his YouTube channel on Monday (May 12).

The video titled ‘The first time I was drugged and raped’ had the 57-year-old claiming that he had been sexually assaulted twice in 2024 while living in Taiwan.

Wong Hei alleges that the first incident occurred on the morning of July 15 last year in Hsinchu County.

The Burning Flame actor, who left TVB in 2011, claimed he was drugged at a friend's place and later woke up lying in a prone position, struggling to breathe, before blacking out.

When he regained consciousness, he found himself on the floor and felt pain throughout his body and later found multiple bruises all over his body.

Wong Hei also claimed that his friend appeared indifferent and was casually on his phone.

However, the friend insisted he take the morning train out, driving him to a remote area far from the station.

On board the train, Wong Hei recalled noticing several passengers behaving weirdly, almost as if they were “guarding something” rather than simply commuting during rush hour.

Wong Hei also alleges that a second assault took place on December 10, 2024, after he had drinks with two friends.

Similar to the first incident, he lost consciousness and woke up to find himself being physically restrained before blacking out again.

Wong Hei said when he next gained awareness, he was covered in blood, his knees were bruised, and he had defecated involuntarily and discovered a white substance mixed with faeces between his buttocks.

Despite the harrowing incident, Wong Hei said both friends acted as if nothing had happened.

It is unclear whether the same individuals were involved in both alleged incidents.

Following the assaults, Wong Hei also said he had sought medical help but said he encountered uncooperative healthcare staff.

Towards the end of the video, Wong Hei said was ultimately diagnosed with rhabdomyolysis which he believes is related to the two assaults he experienced.

Rhabdomyolysis happens when damaged skeletal muscle breaks down rapidly and is often due to high intensity exercise over a short period.

However, he says that both incidents weren’t reported to the police due to his distrust of the authorities.

The video has garnered over 15K views with netizens expressing a mix of shock, support, and skepticism.

“Thank you for speaking out. I can’t you still have the courage to go public with what you went through,” read a comment.

Another cautioned Wong Hei to choose his friends more wisely” while one meanly wrote, “How did you allow yourself to fall into such situations not once but twice?”
