We all know that Hong Kong actor-turned-TVB Chief Creative Officer Wong Cho Lam really loves buying property in Hong Kong

The 43-year-old has a penchant for the houses in the Pak Shek Kok residential area, which is located in the Tai Po district, right along the Tolo Harbour.

Who wouldn't love a breathtaking, unblocked sea view, right?

Cho Lam also bought a house for his wife Leanne Li

In 2015, Cho Lam bought a HK$114.2mil (S$20mil) penthouse in the Mayfair By The Sea II development, which he put under the name of his actress wife, Leanne Li.

At that time, it was reported that Cho Lam set a new record for the highest price paid per foot for his 2809 sq ft apartment.

The next year, he spent another HK$37mil (S$6.6mil) on a 1575sqm apartment from the same development. That unit comes with four bedrooms and its own garden.

At that time, the actor revealed that he bought the house for his mother.

Then in 2021, Hongkong media reported that Cho Lam sold his second Mayfair By The Sea apartment for HK$45.8mil (S$8.2mil), netting him about S$1.5mil in profit.

No wonder he loves this area so much.

Who wouldn't wanna live in the Mayfair By The Sea right?

Cho Lam recently dropped a cool HK$20.5mil (S$3.5mil) on a 3-room apartment in The Horizon, a development which is also located in the Tai Po district.

According to reports, a 1362sqm unit in the The Horizon development was found to be registered under the name "Wong Cho Lam".

Well, it could be someone else, but what are the odds that another person with the exact same name would also have a soft spot for the houses in Tai Po, right?
