Wilber Pan Slammed By Netizens For Going On Dating Show In 2017 When He Was Already Seeing His Now-Wife

Reality shows are huge in China — from buzzy talent searches like Sisters Who Make Waves to heartwarming family fare such as Where Are We Going, Dad? and to gushy dating shows like Jiangsu TV's We Are In Love, which was a spin-off of the mega popular Korean dating show We Got Married.
In We Are In Love, eligible celebrity bachelors and bachelorettes were paired up and sent to exotic locations, such as Hawaii, where they go on dates and basically romance the heck out of each other. In fact, the show did so well, it went on for three seasons.
One of the couples on the third season, which aired in 2017, was Taiwanese singer Wilber Pan and Chinese host Wu Xin. Viewers were impressed by how attentive and warm Wilber was, which they felt was a stark contrast to the bad boy persona he puts on in his music.
