Why Are Netizens Fixated On Grace Chan’s Belly Button?

Hong Kong actress Grace Chan’s cooking video is in the spotlight again, and once again, netizens are fixated on something other than her cooking. 

Well, at least they aren’t being outright mean this time…

Recently, the 31-year-old uploaded a video of her sharing a new recipe on her Xiaohongshu account, wearing a brown top that ever-so-slightly exposes her belly button.

And of course, netizens had something to say about it. 

One wrote that it was obvious that childbirth had clearly taken a toll on the actress, expressing that they felt sorry for Grace. The belly button is the remnant of where the umbilical cord connected a baby to its mother during pregnancy. For some mothers, their belly button will remain stretched out or protruded even after giving birth, which is what appears to be the case with Grace.

Another commented that they envied Grace for being able to take care of three kids, and still post regular content on her socials. 

Some others were also worried that the actress had lost too much weight postpartum, and urged Grace to take care of herself.

Grace, who tied the knot with fellow celeb Kevin Cheng, 53, in 2018, has welcomed three boys into their family. The couple had their first child, Rafael, 4, in February 2019, second son Yannick, 2, in July 2020, and their youngest, Carlos, in January this year.
