Netizens Claim That Weng Hong’s 14-Year-Old Daughter Is “Even More Beautiful” Than Her Now

It seems like netizens are big fans of spotting the next second-gen star in the making. Case in point: Chingmy Yau’s daughter, Shum Yuet, and Dee Hsu’s daughter Elly.

And now, it seems like we have another up-and-coming young star to keep our eyes on. Former Category III star Weng Hong, 53, recently posted a video together with her 14-year-old daughter, Crystal, and it caught the attention of netizens.

Crystal is no stranger to social media, having appeared a number of times in her mother’s posts. Just earlier this year, she made waves online after sharing pictures of herself in a period costume on her own Weibo.

But back to the video Weng Hong posted. In her caption, the star wrote: “A day filled with urgent work matters: smart and shining little Crystal and her old mum.”

Netizens immediately took to the comments section to praise the mother-daughter pair.

“I think both the mother and the daughter are very pretty, there’s no need to compare who’s prettier,” one wrote, while another netizen straight up wrote: "[Crystal’s] prettier than her mum”.

“I haven’t seen such a pretty second-gen star in such a long time,” yet another netizen wrote.

A number of other netizens also commented that Crystal looks so good ‘cos her dad is equally attractive.

Weng Hong tied the knot with gym instructor Will Liu in 2007. The couple welcomed Crystal later that year.
