We showed the ‘Old is Gold’ cast how they’d look in 50 years and here’s how they reacted

Local celebrities have taken to social media to share “elderly” pictures of themselves, complete with wrinkles, #grannyhair, and saggy skin. And they look pretty realistic, to say the least.</p>
<p>The instant ageing is all thanks to FaceApp’s old age filter, which uses artificial intelligence to alter one’s appearance to look decades older. Since old is the new hip, we decided to filter the cast of long-running Channel 8 drama <em><a target="_blank" href="https://tv.toggle.sg/en/channel8/shows/old-is-gold-tif/episodes">Old is Gold</a>, </em>which is set in a nursing home, to give them a glimpse into their future.<br /></p>
