Wang Leehom Yells At Crew After Nearly Falling Off Stage During Hangzhou Concert

Mandopop star Wang Leehom, who is currently on his Best Place concert tour, had a little mishap during his Hangzhou show on May 3.

While performing ‘Heaven and Earth Dragon’, the 48-year-old walked toward the stage lift and the platform descended prematurely, causing him to stumble.

Though he didn’t fall, the incident, which was caught on video, sparked concern among netizens.

Many commented that it was extremely dangerous and urged the organisers to take greater precautions to ensure performers’ safety during shows.

Fans also noticed a brief moment when Leehom’s expression changed and he appeared to yell at someone below the stage.

“Bro is so angry he has lost control of his facial expressions,” said one Xiaohongshu user, while another wrote, “Judging by the lip movements, it seems he said, ‘Do you want to keep working or not!’”

Some also gushed about how “cool” the singer looked when he’s scolding people and that “a serious man is so handsome”.

Um, okay.

Leehom’s manager has since responded about the incident, saying that “it was a lapse in the team’s safety management”.

He added that a full inspection of all equipment was carried out immediately after the incident and that safety procedures for all remaining shows will be thoroughly re-evaluated and enhanced.

That looks like quite a deep drop.
Angry liao.
Can't blame him for losing his cool.
