However, none of them were bad enough to warrant a response — and a potential lawsuit — from him. Until now.

Leehom and Jinglei in happier times
The day after Leehom announced his split, a netizen surnamed Chen shared a post claiming that the star had cheated on Jinglei with Yumi Bai of Singaporean pop duo BY2 before and after the former couple tied the knot.
According to Chen, Leehom started seeing Yumi, 29, when he and Jinglei were already dating, but he was never interested in anything serious and only asked Yumi for sex.
“She (Yumi) originally thought that he didn’t want to talk about love ‘cos he’d been hurt,” wrote Chen. “It was only after he and his wife announced their marriage that she realised she’d been the other woman.”
Chen went on to allege that Yumi still couldn’t get over Leehom and continued to contact him, even sending him sexy nudes to try and please him.
“I think the man is really a scumbag, but his good guy image is well-established so nobody could tell,” scoffed Chen.

Those are some pretty serious allegations
Accompanying the damning post were several photos of Leehom and Yumi appearing to be behaving rather closely with one another.
Two of them show Yumi with her arm casually draped around Leehom’s shoulders, while the third is of them hanging out with Yumi’s twin sister Miko and another friend, with Leehom resting his hand on Yumi’s wrist.
However, netizens suspect that the latter pic may be a fake due to the tattoo on Leehom’s arm, which isn’t actually inked.

Chen has since deleted the post
Those who are planning on stirring up more baseless gossip about Leehom and Yumi might want to think twice about doing so.
Leehom’s manager has warned that they will not hesitate to take legal action against those who continue to spread “malicious slander” and “false accusations and reports”.
They added that they will stop responding to personal matters to avoid taking up social resources.
BY2’s work studio also issued a statement on Weibo explaining that the seemingly ‘intimate’ pics of Yumi and Leehom were deliberately cropped out of a group photo that was taken at a celebratory event for his concert in 2013.
Like Leehom’s reps, they threatened to take legal action against rumour-mongers, saying that such “false information” has “caused misunderstandings among the general public and media” and “seriously damaged BY2’s reputation”.
