Chinese action star Vincent Zhao, 50, is best known for playing Wong Fei-hung in the fourth and fifth instalments of the hugely popular Once Upon a Time in China franchise in the nineties.

He tied the knot with Zhang Danlu in 2006, and the couple have three children together, Ziyang, 14, Zilong, 11, and Luna, five.

Though Vincent has taken a step back from showbiz to spend time with his family, his popularity rose again after he participated on the first season of Call Me By Fire last year.

Vincent and family went on holiday together during Ziyang's vacation

Last week, Vincent took to Weibo to share some updates about his eldest daughter, Ziyang, whose English name is Rosita.

Posting a pic of himself, Danlu and Ziyang at the airport, Vincent revealed that he was sending his daughter off to Switzerland, where she attends school. She was recently back in China for her summer vacation.

According to reports, Ziyang is a student at Institut Le Rosey, a extremely prestigious Swiss private boarding school.

And with fees that cost around S$159K per year, it's also one of the most expensive schools in the world.

Vincent and Danlu took turns hugging Ziyang goodbye

Vincent posted another set of photos of him and Danlu hugging Ziyang, with the couple looking really reluctant to see her leave.

“It’s time for school to start again! Wishing that everything goes smoothly for our eldest princess, and most importantly [she] takes care of herself. Looking forward to the next time [she] returns,” wrote Vincent.

Danlu also commented: “Sending Rose away again, mum was able to feel the warmth for quite a few days. Hoping that [we] won’t have to wait long for [Ziyang’s] next return, Jiayou, my princess.”
