Did Hong Kong actor Vincent Wong, 39, go under the knife, or is this just a case of too much Photoshop?
Netizens have been commenting that the actor, who has been working in China for the past year or so, now has a “new face”, particularly after seeing this video the actor posted.
The video, which was to promote his latest drama, Mission Run, sees the actor dressed in a plain white tee and addressing the camera. His fans commented that the actor now looks "younger" and more suave after cutting his hair short.
However, there were a couple of netizens who felt that Vincent now looks drastically different, with one going as far as to accuse the actor of sporting a “new face”.
“Why does it look like his [face] has changed?” one netizen questioned, while another added that the actor “looks a bit like any other internet influencer out there”.
Another called for the actor to “turn off his editing app” ‘cos they almost couldn’t recognise Vincent.
The debate was also brought over to Vincent’s Instagram, with one netizen attempting to defend the actor with this comment: “He didn’t go under the knife. As for the photographer, it’s inevitable that they’ll photoshop their pictures.”
