When former TVB actor Vin Choi (蔡淇俊), 38, was still active in showbiz, he was known as the “pirated” version of Nicholas Tse. Not exactly flattering but not an insult either.

The 1.83m-tall actor made his showbiz debut when he was just 17, and went on to star in many popular dramas such as The Brink of Law (2007), Best Selling Secrets (2007) and Beyond the Realm of Conscience (2009).

Vin left TVB in 2014 after shooting Tiger Cubs 2 apparently because he couldn't deal with the intense competition and pressure in showbiz.

It appears that Vin has done very well for himself since leaving showbiz and is now a successful restaurateur in China where he owns a chain of rice noodle stores.

Vin, who was already interested in the F&B industry when he was an actor, moved to Foshan shortly after his contract with TVB ended and set up his first restaurant there.

Following the success of his first F&B venture, Vin went on to open another four noodle restaurants as well as a hotpot place. He also recently started a café with some friends.

Although he has not appeared on screen in the past few years, he's still very active on Weibo and Douyin, often showing off thirsty pics like the ones we've included for your benefit below.

And if you're wondering whether Vin plans to return to acting, well, you're in luck. He has reportedly accepted a role in upcoming TVB drama Yi Wu Qing Cheng.
