Vicki Zhao’s Daughter, 15, Turns Heads With Rare Social Media Appearance
Now all grown up, the teen has sparked online chatter after making a rare appearance online.
Amid renewed attention on Chinese actress-director Vicki Zhao following her recent, short-lived livestream comeback, netizens have also turned their focus to her daughter, Huang Xin aka April, after the teen made a rare appearance online.
April, who turns 16 in April, is Vicki’s only child with ex-husband, China-born Singaporean tycoon Huang Youlong.
The teen, who has largely stayed out of the public eye, is reportedly studying in Switzerland and only returns to China during school holidays.
She was last spotted with Vicki at the Beijing airport in July.
A netizen recently shared a video from April’s Instagram Stories showing the teen singing while taking a mirror selfie.
Tall and slender, April sports long, golden-brown hair that gives off a youthful vibe with a hint of rebellion.
While she appears to have inherited her mum’s signature big eyes, some netizens feel she resembles her dad more than her famous mum.
Vicki has kept a low profile since being blacklisted by Chinese authorities in August 2021 for undisclosed reasons. She announced she had split from Youlong in 2024.
