Hongkong fencer Cheung Ka Long, 24, made history when he won gold in the men’s individual foil fencing final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics on Monday (Jul 26).

This makes him Hongkong’s second Olympic gold medallist after windsurfer Lee Lai-shan, who brought home the city’s first ever gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
