No assistant? Is that why he looks so exhausted?

Recently, Hongkong actor Wayne Lai posted a video saying that he went to the mainland for work.

The TVB actor, who's mostly based in China now, returned to Hongkong a while ago to film the broadcaster's new drama Go With The Float.

With that drama wrapped, the 58-year-old Wayne then happily announced that he's gone back to China.

But he reveals that his trip back to China wasn't the easiest, though.

How does one person carry so many luggages?

Turns out Wayne actually waited at the Shenzhen Bay customs for three hours, all by himself, before he could get home.

And it didn't help that he had four huge suitcases with him.

"Getting back [to China] today was very difficult, taking along four pieces of luggage, plus I had to wait for three hours," lamented the actor.

He went on to say that he "hopes to see everyone soon."

After seeing how Wayne didn't have any assistants to help him with his luggage, many netizens praised the TVB best actor for being "down to earth".

Some netizens also found that Wayne looked like he had aged quite a bit. And despite wearing a mask, the actor was still visibly worn out from work.

And he really is

The actor had earlier shared a picture of himself in costume while he was filming the new TVB drama. In the photo, Wayne was seen resting his eyes while standing up.

"Rushing to film my scenes in Go With The Float, I can fall asleep even when [I'm] standing," he wrote.
