Hongkong actress Katy Kung recently purchased a HK$9.35 million (S$1.68 million) apartment in the upscale Ocean Shores development. You would think this is a cause for celebration since she's been working for over a decade but news of her recent investment has raised eyebrows.

You see, netizens don't think the 30-year-old can actually afford such an expensive apartment. In fact, they believe that she's been "leeching off" her rich boyfriend. Though Katy has not gone public with any relationship after breaking up with singer-actor Patrick Tang in 2012, many believe that she is currently dating a wealthy Malaysian man named Bryan.

When asked by reporters about new apartment, the actress confirmed that the news is true but declined to comment further, only saying that she will “continue to work hard”.
