TVB Actress Bella Lam Begged For Money On The Streets With Her Mum When She Was A Year Old
Bella’s mother said she had no choice but to do that as her ex-husband left her with no money and two young children to bring up.
The tough childhood of 28-year-old TVB actress Bella Lam made headlines early this week after an old video of her and her mother on an almost-two decade old TV show resurfaced online.
In the vid, Bella, who was only 10 then, and her mum were being interviewed by actress Paw Hee-Ching.
Bella could be seen comforting her mother, who was talking about how bad their living conditions were and how they had ended up in this situation. “I tried my best to salvage my marriage. I’d prepare soup and wait for [my husband] to come home, but he insisted on moving out. I felt like I was at a dead end as [Bella and her older sister] were only one and nine years old," she sighed.
