The Taiwanese singer-actor is said to be dating a singer 11 years his junior
After calling it quits with his ex-wife, Taiwanese actress Angel Han, in 2015, all has been quiet on the love front for Taiwanese singer-actor Tony Sun.
However, last Thursday (July 11), reports emerged, claiming that the 41-year-old is currently attached. According to the reports, Tony has been dating Taiwanese singer Ariel Sha for a year. Tony was said to have first gotten to know Ariel during a gathering a while back. Ariel is also a frequent guest on the variety show that Tony hosts, The Hunger Games.
Although Ariel is 11 years younger than Tony, the rumoured couple are said to get along very well, with Ariel even meeting Tony’s parents.
The reports were later denied by Ariel, through her management agency. “They're just friends, the company will not pry deeper, but they did not meet each other’s parents,” the statement read.
Similarly, Tony also issued a denial through his management agency, clarifying that he was only friends with Ariel.
Soon after, Tony also uploaded a group picture of the guests on a recent episode of The Hunger Games online. Ariel was also in the picture, as she was a guest on that episode. Despite both Tony and Ariel’s denials, netizens continued to lobby for a relationship between the two friends in the comments.
