Tony Leung, Carina Lau Spotted In Business Class On BKK-Bound Flight With Other Passengers Openly Gawking At Them
Next time you get on a plane, remember to take a look at the other passengers while walking past Business Class because who knows which superstars you might see?
Seriously, is it just us or are celebs getting more chill with security and privacy on flights these days?
Recently, a netizen shared on Xiaohongshu that they had bumped into Tony Leung and his wife Carina Lau at the Hong Kong International Airport.
In the video posted by the netizen, Tony, 62, was seen pushing his luggage towards the Cathay Pacific boarding gate.
"Random encounter at the airport, we're going to Bangkok together," wrote the netizen.
The video then shows Carina, 57, and Tony already in their seats in the Business Class cabin as the same netizen walks past them.
While Carina fiddles with the in-flight entertainment screen, Tony was seen taking a magazine out from his bag and adjusting his seat while other passengers excitedly wave to him.
Tony, who famously suffers from social anxiety, seemed pretty uncomfortable at this point. He simply nods and flashes a tight-lipped smile before looking down at his magazine.
To be honest, given their level of fame, we would have expected Tony and Carina to be in First Class instead as it offers more privacy. Was that option not available for the flight?
Netizens say they could feel how uneasy Tony was, with one lamenting that he was "so cold".
Thankfully, not everyone felt that way. "They were on a personal trip. What did you expect him to do? High-five you in the cabin then twirl you around?"
Indeed.
