A 9-Year-Old Photographed Tony Leung, 61, And The Photos Are Gorgeous

Over the years, we’ve seen many sides to Tony Leung: cute, shy, awkward. But we’ve never seen the 61-year-old actor this sweet.

Last week, Shanghai photographer, Zou Shengyu, nine, took to Weibo to share some pics of her photo shoot with the Hong Kong star.  

“The photos I took of Tony Leung on film. He’s really gentle and cute,” wrote Shengyu, who is known to her 323K followers as Shengsheng.

Among them were snaps of Tony in a relaxed pose, brooding looks, as well as polaroids.

She also posted a behind-the-scenes video from their shoot.

And judging from their interaction, he was pretty charmed by the young photographer.

As soon as they met, Shengsheng greeted Tony politely with a slight bow before shaking his hand.

“Your hand is a little cold,” she commented, eliciting a laugh from the star.

She then proceeded to direct him in the shoot, telling him where to stand and how to pose.

Occasionally, she would start to fangirl, cooing “So handsome” and “You’re really very cute” to the actor.

Tony, who was all smiles and relaxed during the shoot, too was very impressed by Shengsheng, praising her professionalism. 

Netizens also pointed out how gentle and sweet Tony was towards her, like a “kind dad”, though some felt he is “old enough to be her granddad”.

Despite her young years, Shengsheng has managed to make a name for herself as a street fashion photographer.

She picked up photography from her dad, commercial photographer Zou Yupeng, when she was five and shot to fame a year later after approaching Ouyang Nana to snap her on the streets.

Over the years, she has photographed many A-list stars including Andy Lau, Zhou Xun, Zhou Dongyu, Julian Cheung, Eddie Peng, and Jason Momoa.
