If you’ve been following the news, you’d know Apple CEO Tim Cook is in China for the opening of the brand’s newest store in Shanghai.

Apparently, he has been out and about quite a bit, with many netizens spotting him on the streets, including Chinese actor Zheng Kai of Keep Running fame.

And believe it or not, Zheng Kai invited him to breakfast, where they had xiao long bao and soybean milk.

Of course, Zheng Kai had to flex about his once-in-a-lifetime encounter with Tim Cook on his socials.

Besides brekkie, they also took selfies against Shanghai’s iconic skyline and posed with their iPhones.

Tim Cook also took to Weibo to share a video of his time with Zheng Kai, writing: 'Hello Shanghai! Spent the morning walking The Bund with Zheng Kai and enjoying a classic Shanghai breakfast. I’m always so happy to be back in this remarkable city.”

What are the odds of running into the Apple CEO on the streets?
Of course, they had to take a photo with their iPhones.

The interaction between the two sparked discussions among netizens, with some envious of Zheng Kai’s chance encounter.

But was it?

From the comments, it's evident that many were skeptical that the pair had “ran into each other”.

“CEOs like Tim Cook have schedules that are packed to the brim every day, so such a chance encounter and breakfast date are impossible,' said one netizen.

Another concurred: “This must have been prearranged, probably for some collaboration.”

What do you think?
