Film Producer Tiffany Chen Slams Girlfriend Of Younger Son For “Leading Him Astray”, Says She’ll Never Accept Her

The younger son of Hong Kong film producers film producers Charles Heung and Tiffany Chen, Jonathan Heung, 39, is back in the spotlight after Tiffany publicly slammed his girlfriend and declared she would never acknowledge their relationship.

In a recent video, Tiffany didn’t hold back while talking about Jonathan’s relationship, openly blaming his older girlfriend for “leading him astray”.

According to her, Jonathan, who has dabbled in several failed business ventures, has changed drastically since getting together with her, becoming lazy, refusing to work, distancing himself from family, and developing a bad temper.

“She brings him no benefit, only drags him down. Why would I want a woman like this as my daughter-in-law?” Tiffany said, adding she “won’t meet or acknowledge her”.

“Even if you get married, I still won’t accept it.”

She also made it clear that her criteria for a daughter-in-law has nothing to do with looks or background, but whether she can “make my son a better person”.

In stark contrast, Tiffany continues to dote on her elder son Jacky Heung’s wife, Taiwanese actress Bea Hayden. The couple have been married for six years and have a four-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son together. 

She has previously praised Bea for her calm, low-key personality, crediting her for inspiring Jacky, 42, to become more driven.

“She may seem very laid-back, but she’s won over Jacky’s heart and ours too,” Tiffany once said.

Charles has also publicly expressed his trust in Bea, even revealing that the couple plans to let her manage the family fortune, reportedly worth over NT$200 billion (around S$8bil), to prevent it from being squandered by their “spendthrift heir”.

In fact, he stated that their will would leave “not a single cent directly” to their sons, with everything to be overseen by Bea instead.

Jonathan, whom Tiffany once called “her pain”, has long been a source of concern for his parents.

He previously made headlines for brushes with the law and was jailed for six months for assaulting a taxi driver in 2015.

Tiffany later admitted she may have “spoiled” him badly by giving him money without limits, which led to his dependent lifestyle.

Things appear to have worsened this year. In February 2026, Tiffany reportedly blocked Jonathan on all communication platforms, with both parents refusing to meet him in person.

Communication is said to be handled only through a secretary, and Jonathan now allegedly survives on a basic monthly allowance.

In April, Tiffany publicly criticised him again, calling him “lazy” and “unwilling to work”, and said they are no longer in direct contact.

The situation escalated further earlier this month when Jonathan and his girlfriend were spotted at a bar in Nanchang.

She was seen smoking and drinking, which only seemed to reinforce Tiffany’s disapproval.
