This Singer’s Wikipedia Page Said She’s 29 Years Old, But Her Ex-Classmate Claims She’s Actually 41
Someone has since edited her date of birth on the site.
Everyone knows age can be a touchy subject, especially when it comes to women, and even more so when they’re in the public eye (unless of course, they are unbelievably youthful-looking, like sizzling septuagenarian Vera Wang or salt water-gargling 64-year-old Michelle Yim). But how far would you go to hide how old you really are?
Recently, someone claiming to be a former secondary school classmate of Hongkong singer Gloria Tang — no, we’re not talking about G.E.M, although they do have the same name — reached out to the media saying that the year of birth that’s shown on her Wikipedia page, 1990, is not accurate, and that it’s actually supposed to be 1978.
That’s 12 years, or one complete Chinese zodiac cycle, earlier.
