Will Chengcheng be China's next big thing?
You might not have heard of Fan Chengcheng, but you definitely know his older sister Fan Bingbing. The 36-year-old Chinese superstar recently gave her 17-year-old brother's profile a major boost on Weibo. "Here's formally introducing my brother, Fan Chengcheng @Adam0616. Everyone, please take good care of him!" she wrote on her microblog, where she has close to 61 million followers. Actor Li Chen aka Bingbing's fiancé soon posted the same message on his own Weibo, proving that it pays to have family in high places. Oh, and in case you thought you read wrong, Bingbing is 19 years older than Chengcheng.
Adam's the name
According to Chinese media reports, Chengcheng, or Adam, has been undergoing K-pop boot camp and receiving singing and dancing lessons in Korea for nearly a year. He's currently a trainee under Yuehua Entertainment, which counts Chinese star Han Geng and boyband Uniq in its stable of stars.
Details of his debut are fuzzy as of press time, but with such an influential sister this idol hopeful, who now has 260K followers on Weibo, sure has a bright future.
Chengcheng is said to be 1.9m tall
