Thai Actress Sexually Assaulted By Rescue Worker While In Medically Vulnerable State
The actress also alleged that the suspect took nude photographs of her.
A Thai rescue worker has confessed to sexually assaulting actress Christine Gulasatree Michalsky, 30, when she was experiencing a medical emergency.
The incident occurred in the early hours of March 31 at Christine’s condo in Bangkok.
Christine, known for her role in the GL drama Reverse 4 You, said she suffered severe breathing difficulties after taking her regular medication along with an antihistamine, which she believes led to an overdose.
She added that she has been diagnosed with depression and panic symptoms and takes medication daily.
As her condition worsened around 3 am, she contacted a friend, who called emergency services. A rescuer, later identified as 34-year-old Nikorn, arrived alone at the condo.
Christine said the assault took place when a security guard briefly left to assist police officers who were unable to enter the building due to access restrictions.
During that interval, she alleged, the rescuer took advantage of her condition, lifted her shirt, removed her pants, and sexually assaulted her.
He also allegedly used his phone to take nude photos.
Christine said that although she was “unable to move or protect [herself]”, she remained aware of what was happening around her.
She further alleged that he later attempted to conceal the incident by dressing her and pretending to administer aid when the security guard returned with the police.
Christine later filed a police report and spoke out about the incident on Instagram.
She said she would not accept any compensation or out-of-court settlement and intends to pursue full legal action.
Police said Nikorn initially denied the allegations but later confessed during further questioning.
He admitted to sexually assaulting Christine and taking photographs, investigators said, adding that he claimed to have deleted the images after she spoke publicly about the incident and did not share them with others.
He has been charged with sexually assault. The offence carries a penalty of up to 10 years’ imprisonment, a fine of up to 200,000 baht (S$8.88K), or both.
