Recently, a netizen took to Chinese social media Xiao Hong Shu to share that she spotted Hong Kong actress Tavia Yeung, 44, shopping alone in a mall in Guang Zhou.

The photos shared by the netizen quickly went viral after many pointed out how fierce and haughty Tavia looked when speaking to a sales person.

"She looks like she's about to slap the sales assistant," joked one netizen.

Noting that the Tavia in the photo differs largely from her usual friendly self, some netizens said the picture reminded them of the devious character she played in 2009 TVB drama Beyond The Realm Of Conscience.

Some netizens also defended the star, explaining that she was just expressionless and was definitely not trying to pick on the staff. 

In fact, a fan, who visited Tavia on the set of her new TVB drama Darkside of the Moon, also shared that the actress was absolutely lovable when they met. 

"She's super nice, has flawless skin, and is so elegant and friendly. When I gave her flowers, she even said: 'I didn't think I'd receive so many flowers, thank you'," gushed the fan.

So yes, some people just have a serious case of Resting Bitch Face, though it makes for a really good photo right?
