Tavia Yeung Reportedly Offered “Eight-Figure Sum” To Star In Chinese Drama With Husband Him Law
She has said that she and Him will be leaving Hongkong for work soon.

The last time Tavia Yeung acted in a drama was in 2018, when she starred in TVB's Another Era. She then took a temporary hiatus to prepare for the next chapter of her life: motherhood.

Now that her daughter Hera is six months old, the 41-year-old has reportedly settled on her next project, which is apparently a Chinese production. According to sources, Tavia was offered an eight-figure sum, which makes it at least HKD$10mil, or S$1.74mil.
Her husband Him Law, 36, is also said to be joining Tavia in the drama, which would make this the first time the couple has worked together in over seven years. It will also be their first as a married couple. Their last project together was 2013’s The Hippocratic Crush 2.

Both actors have remained tight-lipped on the rumours, with Tavia responding to media queries with a vague, “[Him and I] will be leaving Hongkong for work, but we can’t talk about the details yet. We have to wait for the official announcement [before we talk about it].”

Back to work they go
The new parents will likely be leaving their baby girl behind in Hongkong, and Tavia has said that they would “not miss her”. Instead, their focus would be on "working hard for her future”.
Tavia and Him tied the knot in March 2016, announced that they were expecting this February, and welcomed Hera in April.
