Life has been good to Taiwanese singer Winnie Hsin. Best known for classics like ‘Understanding’, ‘Women Shouldn't be Hard on Women’, and ‘Scent’, the chanteuse, who has put the brakes on her career for the past few years, recently returned to spotlight with a concert tour.

During the press conference for the tour, the 58-year-old shared that she moved into her new 330 sqm home in Neihu in April and is enjoying her “carefree” life.

However, as she lives alone, she can’t help but worry about her own safety.

“When Luo Peiying passed away, I was very sad. And when I heard that Alien Huang had died, I was a bit scared. They both lived alone [and passed away at home], so there was a bit of fear,” she said.

Fortunately, Winnie's family members live nearby and for peace of mind, she has made a pact with her friends to update them on her safety every day.
