Taiwanese Singer Shaves Head In Support Of Sick Dad

Taiwanese singer Olivia Tsao, 38, recently shared a video of herself getting her long hair shaved.

Olivia later posted photos with her father, revealing she had decided to go bald in support of him.

"Always be with you," she wrote for one of pic, which saw her standing beside her dad, who was seated in an electric wheelchair.

According to Olivia's manager, the singer's father is battling an illness, which Olivia has chosen to not reveal.

"Olivia's dad is bald due to the treatment he's undergoing. He used to dye his hair, and it looked really fashionable and pretty! Now that he is no longer able to keep his hair, Olivia wishes to accompany him," added the manager.

Olivia's dad has seen her new look and has complimented her for looking "very young and cute". Her friends, too, think she looks "adorable" with her shaved head.

The friend who shaved Olivia's head initially thought she was kidding when she brought up the idea of going bald.

"After finding out the reason, [I'd say] you're really brave, loving, and amazing," he said.

Netizens were also moved by Olivia's show of love, with many praising her for her courage, and for being a filial daughter.
