Taiwanese Influencer Let His Kid Poop In Uniqlo Store — The Toddler Had Diapers On, But Incident Still Leaves Netizens Enraged

A Taiwanese content creator has come under fire for allowing his two-year-old daughter to poop in a Uniqlo store in Taipei.
The content creator, who posts content of his family on the Muxi Family account, took his two-year-old daughter to 's Taipei Changrong outlet to take a poop, as seen in a video posted earlier this month.
Hiding behind two racks of outerwear in the store, the little girl peered through a gap and told her dad: "I'm pooping. Don't bother about me."
Instead of stopping her, her dad went on to have a conversation with her, and filmed the entire exchange.
"I'll feel very comfortable after pooping, it'll mean my butt is very strong," said the little girl.
Her dad then replied: "Whenever you're constipated, I'll bring you here and you'll be able to poop, right?"
He also praised Uniqlo for providing what he called a "magical" solution to his daughter's constipation.
Sharing the clip on social media, Muxi Family went on the include this caption which was written in the little girl's POV: "I've been taking prescriptions for constipation for around two years, but of late, the medications don't seem to be as effective any more. We've already arranged for another appointment to get stronger medication, but my parents had found out by chance that the shop's ambience is strangely effective in [letting me] have painless poops."
They also revealed they've visited the same location for "several weeks" in order to test the plan's effectiveness, adding they will take full responsibility should any customer complain about "the faint smell of princess poop" on their clothes.
Muxi Family has since received severe backlash for their actions.
Some criticised them for having "no class", while others said they were "disgusting" and "too obsessed with going viral".
"Would you be happy if you purchased clothes that smelled like poop?" questioned one netizen. Others also felt they should "purchase the entire rack of clothes" to take responsibility for their actions.
After receiving a barrage of criticism, the dad made another post apologising for their actions.
He clarified that his daughter had a diaper and pants on, and expressed regret for causing others discomfort. He also said she was not "pooping on the floor" like some assumed, adding he "really had no control over when [his] kid chose to poop".
He also claimed that his daughter was not actually pooping in the video he filmed and the line he wrote about leaving behind "the faint smell of princess poop" was just a harmless quip.
However, he did take responsibility and apologised for allowing his kid to stand on the clothing rack and hide behind the clothes, admitting it was "negligence on his part" for not stopping her.
Many netizens were not appeased by his explanation, with some saying it didn't matter that his daughter was wearing a diaper, and that his apology lacked accountability.
Uniqlo has since released a statement announcing they've done a thorough check on their products, and have not found any to be contaminated.
"However, in order to ensure that the store is clean, we will conduct full sanitation and cleaning works in order to ensure customers can shop with a peace of mind."
According to reports, the police in Luzhou District have yet to receive any reports on the incident, but instead, have already gotten in touch with the store to advise them to retain all CCTV footage should they choose to pursue the case. They are also keeping in contact with the store, and will inform Muxi Family of their charges if and when the shop chooses to file an official report.
