Last weekend, Korean boyband Super Junior held a two-day fan meet at Taiwan's Kaohsiung Arena.

After successfully wrapping up both shows, the group’s de facto leader Leeteuk along with member Choi Siwon dropped by a local hotpot restaurant for dinner.

It was there that Siwon took out a bottle of Kaoliang liquor that was given to him by a fan.

According to Leeteuk, he wanted to have Coke, but Siwon was in a drinking mood and cajoled him to have a few glasses.

For those who don’t know, Kaoliang liquor is a distilled Chinese liquor that contains between 38 to 63 per cent of alcohol. In other words, it's really strong.

After two tiring nights and some strong liquor, it was understandable that Leeteuk got drunk. However, that didn't stop him from going live on YouTube upon reaching his hotel so he could chat with his fans.

He started slurring his words and repeatedly said in English “I’m drunk, I’m drunk.”

He also revealed that he only drank “just four” glasses.

As he reflected on the Kaohsiung shows, Leeteuk suddenly started drifting in and out of sleep, eventually lying down on the couch completely.

He would also ramble unintelligibly during his more awake moments.

He got comfy real quick

Leeteuk's manager, who was presumably monitoring the live stream from another room, entered his suite almost 30 minutes later, panicked that the star would say something wrong while drunk.

“Hurry and switch it off,” his manager was heard saying in the background.

In a funny turn of events, Leeteuk sat up, looking more sober, and teased his manager by turning the camera to face the latter.

He only turned off the live stream after engaging his fans in a super long chat, and also taking them through his entire make-up removal routine.

In the end Leeteuk's whole drunken live stream lasted for an hour and 30 minutes.

Leeteuk would later share the stream on his YouTube, titling it: “I’m drunk.”
