The pics are usually accompanied with a breezy caption, and voila, instant gratification for all.

You see, the 10-Year Challenge — some people call it the How Hard Is Life Hitting You Challenge or the 2009 vs 2019 Challenge — has to be the most feel good challenge ever. The people who post the then and now pics usually get showered with positive comments like, “You look so much younger now!” or “You’re hotter than ever!” while us voyeurs get to see how far your friends and celebrities have grown, shrank, aged, and, let's be honest, found the perfect filter over the decade.
