Star Awards 2017 Nominations Revealed!

It’s the time of the year again where local TV’s finest battle it out to be named the year’s best. Hero is looking pretty super now with its 11 nominations – the most for any drama — including four in just the Best Supporting Actress category alone. It’s followed close behind by You Can Be An Angel 2 and The Dream Job, both dramas (that just happen to star Rebecca Lim) scored eight noms each. It’s a good year too for Jesseca Liu who gets her first Best Actress nom in 10 years (the last time she was nominated was in 2007) and Andie Chen, who earned nods in the Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor category. Will he do a Xie Shaoguang in 1996 and go home with both trophies? Well, we’ll find out on April 16.
