Stanley Ho Will Only Be Laid To Rest Next Year As There Is No Auspicious Date For His Burial In 2020

The funeral hall was decorated with red and white flowers, with thousands of roses, orchids and hydrangeas on display. His portrait was surrounded by red roses, which netizens say was unusual as the colour is associated with auspicious celebrations. That decision was not explained by his family members, who rejected all requests to speak to the media.

After the funeral, Stanley's body will remain in the Hong Kong Funeral Home for the time being as the fengshui master has not found a suitable date this year for his burial. According to reports, Stanley will only be laid to rest next year at the Chiu Yuen Cemetery on Mount Davis.

Among those spotted at Stanley’s funeral were Hongkong politicians Carrie Lam and Leung Chun Ying, who are the current and former Chief Executive of Hongkong respectively, as well as property developer tycoon Thomas Kwok, who hails from Hongkong's richest family, and billionaire David Li, who is the chairman of the Bank of East Asia.

There were also many celebs in attendance, with some of the notable attendees being Jackie Chan, Liza Wang, Patrick Tse and Lin Ching Hsia.

Ching Hsia in particular caught the attention of netizens who marvelled at the 65-year-old's everlasting beauty. We're not sure how they could tell since her face was covered up with a pair of sunglasses and a mask, but netizens say that the proof is in her neck, or rather how smooth her neck looks. “She’s definitely a superstar, and her beauty is unmatched even at her age," wrote one impressed netizen.
