Song Joong Ki Goes Into Protective Dad Mode When Fan Tries To Film His Wife & Son At Park

Korean star Song Joong Ki and his wife, British former actress Katy Louise Saunders, welcomed their son last June, and like many celebs, he is fiercely protective of his family’s privacy.

Since the baby's birth, Joong Ki, 38, has only shared a photo of the newborn’s hand and has not revealed his name.

Recently, a fan who ran into Joong Ki and his family at a park in Korea, shared a video of their encounter online.

Though Joong Ki was casually dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and cap, he was spotted by passers-by and the family-of-three attracted quite a bit of attention.

Joong Ki greeted the public politely and graciously obliged to photos with fans.

However, when a camera panned to his wife and 11-month-old son, Joong Ki leapt into protective husband and dad mode and waved his hands signalling for the fan to stop.

The fan respected his wishes by covering Katy's face with a diamond sticker.

The media and public have long been curious about the appearance of Joong Ki's son.

He once revealed in an interview that he’s been told how much his son's lips look like his.

“That's what people tell me about my son, eight out of 10 times," he said proudly.

Joong Ki confirmed his relationship with Katy in December 2022 and announced a month later that they were married and expecting a child together.

He was married to actress Song Hye Kyo for two years. They divorced in 2019.
