The Sister Of This Miss Hongkong Got Arrested For Putting Her Cat In A Washing Machine And Turning It On

In the original video, which was posted on Yuki’s Instagram Story, Yuki can be seen placing her pet cat, nicknamed “Chubby Sister”, in her top-loading washing machine.

The video was captioned: “Playing a prank on Chubby Sister; she pooped in my suitcase the other day”.

After placing her cat in the washing machine, Yuki then films herself pressing a button on the machine, causing the inner drum, where the cat was placed, to spin for 14 seconds.

“Little Chubby Sister who got surprised,” another caption gloats.

After she stops the machine, her visibly frightened pet cat tries to jump out of the machine, to no avail. Yuki opens the door of the machine shortly after, with the cat immediately jumping out and running away.

Netizens were immediately horrified upon seeing the video, many condemning Yuki for her actions. After scrolling through Yuki’s Instagram, some of them quickly realised that Yuki has a celebrity connection, with Carmaney being her younger sister.

As Yuki has since locked down her social media accounts, netizens took to Carmaney’s Instagram instead to lash out at Yuki.

When Hongkong media outlet hk01 contacted Carmaney for a comment on her sister’s actions, the 27-year-old replied: “I only knew about this issue earlier today… [my sister] actually loves animals, but it’s true that she did not act properly. However, I believe that this will never happen again”.

Well, especially when it appears that justice will be served. On Feb 8, it was reported that Yuki was arrested by the police for animal abuse. According to the authorities, they had logged a large number of reports regarding this incident.

Yuki is said to have raised Chubby Sister, who’s a 5-year-old British Shorthair cat, from birth.
