Two days after he was discharged from the hospital, 64-year-old Hongkong actor Simon Yam has revealed his thoughts about the brutal stabbing incident that shocked the world. Simon told the Hongkong media that everything happened so fast, his "mind went blank". But despite his injuries, he managed to "remain calm".

During the interview, Simon also said that he did not notify his wife, supermodel Qi Qi, about the incident immediately. And that she only found out about what had happened from the news.
