Simon Yam’s 18-Year-Old, 1.8m-Tall Daughter, Ella Yam, Has Been Rubbing Shoulders With Hollywood Stars

Ella Yam, the 18-year-old daughter of Hong Kong actor Simon Yam and Chinese supermodel Qi Qi, recently flew to Los Angeles to attend a fashion show.
Ella later took to her Instagram to share some pictures she’d taken with stars like Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Chastain, Sylvester Stallone, John Legend and Chris Pine.
In the pictures, Ella, who stands at 1.8m, is visibly taller than a number of the celebs, much to the amazement of the Hong Kong media. One outlet added in their article that Ella “doesn’t pale in comparison to these Hollywood stars, be it in appearance or height”.
Netizens were also full of praise for Ella.
"That's half [of] Hollywood right there haha good job. Hope it was fun,” one wrote, while another added: "Hope to see you walk the runway in the future”.
On Oct 19, Ella wrote another post on Instagram where she shared her excitement about being featured in an article on US Vogue’s website.
Ella has always been interested in fashion, and has graced the covers of fashion magazines since she was 15.
Apart from catching up with the latest fashion trends with Simon and Qi Qi, Ella usually dresses herself for press events, showcasing her own style.
The young star once shared that she views Hong Kong model-turned-actress Angelababy, as well as American model Gigi Hadid, 27, as her role models.
