Shu Qi Terrified By Rowdy Passenger Mid-Flight

Nobody likes a scare when you're stuck in an enclosed space thousands of miles up in the air. But that's exactly what happened to Shu Qi, who even more unfortunately has fear of flying. The actress, who announced last year that she's taking an indefinite break from acting, posted on Weibo on Tuesday (Mar 6) that she heard disturbing sounds coming from behind her when she was on a flight. The ruckus, as it turned out, was created by a rowdy passenger. Maybe he was just excited to be sitting behind one of the sexiest women in the world?
Airing grievances
Just how disturbing was the commotion the passenger was causing? In her post, Shu Qi wrote that the passenger was making "banging" sounds while turning on the television. And judging from her pictures, the unidentified passenger had basically thrashed the entire seat. Even the chair's leather casing was ripped, exposing the cotton underneath. Yikes. No wonder poor Shu Qi was spooked. We hope her hubby Stephen Fung was there to sooth her nerves though.

On the same Weibo post, Shu Qi chose not to blame the airline and instead told passengers that they have the responsibility to protect shared property. “Planes ferry us around all
the time. They work very hard and are very tired too. So can we please be more civic-minded and treat them a bit better please?” she wrote. Amen to that.
