Show Luo Falls Off Stage Just Seconds After Starting Kaohsiung Concert

After an eight-year absence, Taiwanese star Show Luo, 43, marked his return to the Kaohsiung Arena last Saturday (Nov 12) with a, well, unforgettable concert.
The singer, who made his showbiz comeback last November after his cheating scandal, kicked off the show with a spectacular opening, leaping onto the stage with 30 dancers to his high-octane track ‘No Joke’.
But just seconds later, he suddenly fell down the platform lift shaft.
Videos of the accident circulating online showed him grabbing onto the stage and pulling himself back up to resume his performance.
Show’s manager initially thought that the star had suffered leg cramps which caused him to fall, but later blamed the poor stage design for the accident.
"When he was going up [the shaft], his right foot hit the side of the stage once, and then when he went fell, he hit himself again, so he hit his shin twice… It’s a problem with the stage,” the manager said.
He added that Show’s leg was swollen and had to take painkillers during his performance to ease the pain.
