Selina Jen Spent A Year Renovating Her Old S$9.4mil Apartment As A Surprise Gift For Her Parents

Taiwanese singer and S.H.E member Selina Jen is known to be a very filial daughter — and, thanks to a successful career of almost 20 years, she certainly has the financial means to show it in an epic way.

On Thursday (Nov 26), the 39-year-old shared a vlog of her and her younger sister, 32-year-old actress Lorene Jen, giving their mum and dad a tour of their freshly remodelled new home in Taipei’s Shilin District. According to media reports, the 465 sqm unit was originally bought by Selina and her ex-husband, lawyer Richard Chang, for NT$200mil (S$9.4mil), and it basically became a huge storeroom after they divorced in 2016.
