S.H.E's Selina Jen started 2021 with a bang with the launch of her F&B company, Ren Sing Eat Shot. Her first product was packed porridge, with each one-person portion retailing for NT$159 (S$7.60).

Despite initial complaints from some netizens that the porridge was “overpriced” — there weren’t any expensive ingredients, only sesame oil ginger and taro mushroom — it was still a hit with the public.

Two weeks ago, thanks to "encouraging sales", Selina launched two new flavours — red bean black rice and truffle mushroom.
