M’sian Actress,29, Reveals Ex-Fiance, 22, Only Had S$152 To His Name; Claims He Allegedly Hacked Her TikTok After Their Split

Malaysian actress Saidah Kamarudin, 29, was due to marry fellow actor Muntazar Ghufran, 22, after getting engaged in May last year.

But the wedding was abruptly called off just five months later in October.

The Hey Love, Listen actress has since revealed the reason behind their split, saying she found out Muntazar only had RM500 (S$152) to his name when they were about to tie the knot.

In an interview with mStar, Saidah said, “How can you take care of someone with that amount? You shouldn’t be marrying. You should be looking for a job or continuing your studies,” she said.

Muntazar responded to Saidah’s claims in a separate interview with mStar. He said it wasn’t that he was broke, but that most of his funds were invested in unit trusts, which he had previously told her about.

“She said that’s investment savings, and not real money. If it’s true that I only have RM500 in savings, how could I afford to pay RM1,000 (S$304) for my car, while also giving my family around RM1,000?” he explained.

But things escalated further when Saidah claimed Muntazar had allegedly hacked her TikTok account after the breakup.

On May 3, she posted a TikTok video saying someone had logged into her account and left comments suggesting she hadn’t moved on from the relationship, and even accused her of taking pills for stress.

Prior to the breakup, the couple shared their passwords to their social media accounts with each other.

In another TikTok post, Saidah claimed she recognised the style of writing in the comments and accused Muntazar of being behind them.

“Even if I had forgotten to change my password, what gives you the right to log into my TikTok account?” she asked in the captions.

“I could have exposed more about you here, but I decided not to,” Saidah added before accusing Muntazar of loving his temporary fame now.

However, she revealed that she has since lodged a police report and will leave it to the authorities to settle the matter.

Muntazar responded in an IG story, saying he is choosing to remain silent on the accusations to preserve his dignity.

“I don’t want to drag this out. I take it as a sign from God as to why this relationship didn’t work out,” he wrote.

The former couple previously received attention over their seven-year age gap, with Muntazar saying at that time that he was committed to Saidah and thankful that their families supported their relationship.

Well, we are guessing that support has since shifted.
