Rumours about Luhan’s girlfriend being pregnant dismissed
A Weibo account that was said to belong to her work studio has called these claims “baseless”
Chinese singer-actor Luhan was recently rumoured to have confirmed his relationship with his Sweet Combat co-star Guan Xiao Tong only because she was pregnant and that the couple were even preparing to get married.
Netizens felt that a statement made by Luhan in 2014 supported these claims, where he previously expressed that “his parents wanted him to get married early, at 27 or 28, and then to take a year or two off from promotions for a baby if possible."
As the singer just so happens to be 27 this year, many felt that he wanted to fulfil his parents’ wishes.
However, these rumours have been dispelled by a Weibo account that claimed to have all the information on Xiao Tong which was also speculated to be run by the staff at the actress’s work studio.
“Xiao Tong is not pregnant. These rumours are all baseless, and we urge you not to believe them,” the account wrote.
Luhan has yet to comment on this issue at the moment. A call was previously made to his PR manager who said he would call back after his meeting, but he has not been heard from since.
The 27-year-old actor first announced his relationship last month by posting a picture of the two of them together and tagging Xiao Tong as his “girlfriend.”
