“I thought [my mum] wouldn’t make it and asked [my wife] if we should go ahead with the wedding,” he admitted.

Ruco Chan has cut down on work ever since his mother suffered a major stroke in 2016.

The 43-year-old has devoted most of his time to looking after her, and he revealed more about her condition in a recent interview.

Though he declined to share details such as her age and the illness that she is suffering from, he did say that his mother had been admitted into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) twice in the past two years. He then went on to say that he has taken her to see 10 different specialists to seek various treatment options.
