Roger Kwok & Ex-Wife Cindy Au Both Rumoured To Be Dating Again After Ending 18-Yr Marriage
Since their shocking split in May last year, the public has been very concerned about the love lives of TVB actor Roger Kwok and his ex-wife, former actress Cindy Au.
Recently, both parties are even rumoured to be seeing new people again, less than two years after the divorce. They had been married for 18 years and are parents to teenagers, Brad, 17, and Blair, 14.
Cindy, 45, previously admitted that she's been on dating apps to expand her social circle.
Now, people are speculating that she's in a new relationship after she was spotted going out with a man.
Reports claimed that after attending a charity event, Cindy quickly left and was seen meeting up with a man in black-rimmed glasses.
She got into his car, and the two headed to a well-known Western restaurant. The media also described the man as sporting a receding hairline — what the Chinese call a “Mediterranean-style” bald spot — and said he resembled Hong Kong actor Bobby Au-yeung.
They were happily chatting and laughing during the meal, though there were no signs of intimate physical contact between them.
When asked by media for confirmation, Cindy did not directly deny the news, and simply said: “No comment, keeping a low profile.”
Meanwhile, the 61-year-old Roger was previously rumoured to be in a relationship with 23-year-old actress Hilary Chong. Media dubbed it a “father-daughter romance” due to their age gap.
The rumours sparked after Roger was said to have thrown a birthday celebration for Hilary while filming TVB drama The Fading Gold. The 2023 Miss Hong Kong winner, who was previously said to resemble South Korean singer IU, played his daughter in the series.
But unlike Cindy, Roger was quick to rubbish the rumours.
He explained that they've just been making frequent public appearances together for the drama's promotion and that their relationship is like that of a father and daughter.
