Recent Pic Of '90s Cantopop Queen Cass Phang, 53, Shows She Looks As Good As Ever
The singer dominated the music charts back in her prime.
Cantopop lovers will definitely remember the name Cass Phang. The singer all but dominated the music charts in the ‘90s with hits like ‘Little Plaything’ (which Singaporean singer-songwriter Jimmy Ye composed, by the way), as well as ‘All Because Of You’.
In 1998, Cass tied the knot with fellow singer and DJ Jan Lamb, 55. She gave birth to their two daughters in 2000 and 2004, and has since faded out of the spotlight, choosing to focus on her family. It's also said that they are living in the UK now.
In recent years, it seems like Cass has gotten into fitness, becoming certified as both a Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis trainer.
Recently, Hong Kong lyricist Wyman Wong, 53, travelled to the UK, where he met up with Cass for a meal. The duo are longtime friends, with Cass performing at Wyman’s concert in Hong Kong back in 2012.
In his post, Wyman revealed that Cass made a special trip down to meet up with Wyman while he was in the country.
“This is some real catch up,” he wrote in English.
Netizens were more-than-pleased to catch a glimpse of Cass after so long, with many praising the singer’s looks.
“She looks stunning,” a netizen gushed. Another added: “[She’s an] ageless wonder”.
A couple of netizens added that they really hope to be able to hear Cass sing again.
“How I wish I could hear Cass’ live performance once more, even a single line would be good enough,” one netizen wrote.
