Rainie Yang Tells Husband Li Ronghao Not To Be Angry After He Is Accused Of Having An Affair

On Monday night (Apr 25), Chinese singer Li Ronghao, 36, threw a massive fit on Weibo writing: "In the midst of the pandemic there are still people stirring the pot. Don't worry, the evidence is saved, and the lawyer is dealing with it.”

So what got Ronghao so pissed?

According to reports, there have been rumours claiming that he is having an affair with 33-year-old Chinese singer Jike Junyi and has plans to divorce wife Rainie Yang, 37.

While Ronghao had no qualms showing his unhappiness, Rainie seems totally cool about the allegations.

Almost immediately after Ronghao’s rant, Rainie posted a message in which she declared her trust in her hubby.

"Don't be angry, don't be angry. It's too fake, no one's believing it at all", she wrote, shooting down all rumours that they're headed for divorce.

Netizens also showed their support for the couple with comments like "It's outrageous, I saw it and found it hilarious". Many also praised Rainie for being “so chill".

So who is Jike Junyi? The singer, who got her start in showbiz after coming in third on the first season of The Voice of China, has worked closely with Rainie and Ronghao recently.

She helped Ronghao in mentoring contestants on last year’s Sing! China and she took part in the second season of Sisters Who Make Waves with Rainie. Jike and Rainie would go on to form girl group X-SISTER along with the other contestants who garnered the most votes at the show’s finale.

In response to the allegations that she is having an affair with Ronghao, Jike posted this succinct message on Weibo: "It's fake."
