Qin Lan, 41, Says She’s Now Open To Dating A Much Younger Guy After Romancing Dylan Wang, 22, In New Drama

Chinese actress Qin Lan has never been one to shy away from talking about relationships. The 41-year-old famously dissed those who felt that she should be settling down and having kids “at her age”, reminding them that it’s none of their business.
The straight-talker caused a stir once again this week while promoting her upcoming drama The Rational Life where she romances Dylan Wang, 22. Their 19-year age difference has drawn a mixed bag of reactions from netizens.
Some say he’s too young for her while others feel there’s nothing worth clutching their pearls over.

When asked if she would consider dating a younger man in real life, Qin Lan said: “I never used to believe in May-December relationships, but I now think that it’s a question of ‘Why not?’, especially if I can find someone like [Dylan’s character] in the series.”

Some fans of Qin Lan and Dylan sorta took that as a sign that the on-screen couple might just end up dating in real life too.
After all, there are already rumours that there's something going on between the two.
When they were in Changsha to film variety show Happy Camp recently, Dylan was seen waiting at the airport for Qin Lan’s flight. After filming ended, they also went for hotpot together.

Qin Lan also raved on Weibo about how Dylan prepared for her a hotpot dip made with his "secret recipe", adding that “the average person wouldn’t be able to try it”.
