This Picture Of Andy Lau From 1993 Is Proof That He Doesn't Age

According to Lulu, in 1993, she was chosen to perform at Taiwan’s National Day parade, which is held annually on October 10. At that time, Lulu was still studying at Taipei Municipal Jingmei Girls High School, and she was chosen as part of the school’s contingent for the parade. That year, a number of Hongkong stars were also invited to partake in the festivities, including Andy.

While Lulu shared in a conversation in the comments section of the post that she did not manage to take a photo with Andy ‘cos there was “only one rehearsal that day, and the Heavenly King’s schedule was very tight,” a number of really resourceful media outlets managed to dig up a group photo that was taken backstage.

Lulu also managed to grab a screenshot from the televised broadcast, where she was unexpectedly shown in the same frame as Andy.

In the photos, Andy looked super striking in his white military uniform, with fans commenting, “Lulu, you’re so lucky, all your hard work practising [for the parade] definitely paid off”.

Others also marvelled at how Andy looks just as good today, writing: “He [looks so youthful], it’s almost as if he’s been frozen in time”.

Another netizen added a more political slant to the seemingly innocuous photo as is the norm with Facebook interactions these days, sighing: “[It’s a pity] that Andy will not be able to return for another National Day parade,”, with yet another netizen adding: “They can’t help it, celebrities always gravitate towards whoever has the most money.”
